Step One Choose Your Niche Using This Framework
Answer these three questions honestly.
What topics do you already know enough about to teach a beginner? What topics do you enjoy reading or watching content about? What problems do people in your network frequently ask you about?
Where your knowledge, interest, and others’ problems overlap is your optimal niche.
For African entrepreneurs particularly strong niches include making money online with an African context, forex and investment for beginners in Africa, AI tools and digital business, health and wellness, and education and career development.
The African context angle is specifically valuable because most content in these niches is written for Western audiences. Step Two Build Your Traffic Platform
For complete beginners with zero audience I recommend starting with one of these three options based on your strengths.
If you are comfortable on camera or audio: Start a TikTok channel. Short-form video is the fastest way to reach a large audience from zero with no existing followers. Your first video can reach 1,000 people organically that never happens with a new blog.
If you prefer writing: Start a blog on Blogger. Blog content compounds over time an article you write today can generate traffic and commissions for five years. TikTok content has a shorter active life.
If you are visual and patient: Start a Pinterest account. Pinterest content has the longest lifespan of any platform pins frequently generate traffic for two to three years after posting. The audience uses Pinterest actively to find products and solutions, making them high-intent buyers.
The honest advice is to eventually build all three. But starting with one and doing it well produces better results than starting with three and doing them all poorly.

Step Five Track, Learn, And Optimize
Most new affiliates give up before their content has had time to rank and generate traffic. Google typically takes three to six months to rank new blog content. TikTok algorithm learning takes two to four weeks of consistent posting.
